Join us on the course and make every swing count!

Sign up for the Golf Fore Girls tournament to support Girls on the Run South Dakota and empower young girls to build confidence, connection, and life skills that last far beyond the finish line.

You don’t have to be a pro to play — everyone is welcome! Grab your friends/co-workers, form a team, and be part of something bigger than the game.

Funds raised will ensure every girl—regardless of her family’s financial situation—has the opportunity to experience a space where she feels valued, supported, and capable of achieving her limitless potential.

Join us at The Barrel House in Sioux Falls, SD as we support the local Veterans who have applied for their Honor Flight by donating 10% of our total sales from the day! Midwest Honor Flight will have a representative there for questions and collecting donations.

Step Big Walk for Parkinson’s is an annual event that benefits those served by the South Dakota Parkinson Foundation. All of the proceeds go toward programs and support services that are offered in South Dakota.

Event Day Details:

Registration Opens: 8:30am
Opening Ceremony: 9:15am
Walk: 9:30am-11am

This event will consist of food & drink, music, kid’s activities, yard games, & exhibitors!

Kids under the age of 5 do not need to register, unless you would like them to have a youth size walk t-shirt.

August 29, Noon–5 p.m. | $30

Get your team together for the 9th Annual Pars & Pubs in downtown Sioux Falls, SD on Saturday, August 29th!!

This event takes your regular old pub crawl and combines it with mini golf to make an exciting and fun social event that we call Pars & Pubs. Teams will go from bar to bar, playing a total of 9 challenging and fun custom made mini golf holes. All participating bars will be downtown within walking distance. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. There will be a prize for the best team costume, so get creative and have fun with it! There will be prizes for: best team score, worst team score, and plenty of individual hole prizes and door prizes along the way! The event will start at Noon and end at 4 P.M.. You need to have your scorecards at Wiley’s by 4 PM, where we will hand out awards at 4:30 P.M.. Teams that are present at Wiley’s will have the opportunity to win door prizes. Entry fee is $30 per person.

4 Person teams will compete for the 1st place cash prize. 2 and 3 person teams will be eligible for other prizes. We encourage 4 person teams, but 3 and 2 person teams are available! You can sign up your 3 or 2 person team now, and if you find another 1 or 2 people to be on your team between now and June 10th, they can register as well and request to be added to your team! Come out to help support a good cause and have a great time.

Come and enjoy a day on the golf course to help the Sioux Valley Optimist Club raise funds for our ongoing support of local youth programs! Unique to other golf events, the tournament features special games on select holes and various prize holes to keep players on their toes!

Whether you are seasoned golfer or get out only a couple of times per year, all are welcome here and sure to have a great time ‘”Golfing for the Kids!”

USD Center for Disabilities is excited for our Run Walk & Roll event to return for its 5th year on Saturday, September 12th, 2026! Run Walk & Roll is an inclusive event open to people of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to promote health and wellness for all people in South Dakota, and to have fun while doing it! Events include a timed 5k and a 1-mile FREE fun run, walk & roll. There will be yoga in the park, a mascot race, a food truck, and more! You won’t want to miss this event!

Our 2026 event will spotlight the critical role early childhood development plays in shaping lifelong health, learning, and well-being. By bringing together families, professionals, and community members, this inclusive event raises awareness that every child develops differently and emphasizes the importance of early identification, intervention, and support for developmental needs.

Schedule of Events for September 12, 2026:

8:00a – race day packet pick-up and yoga/stretching session

9:00a – 5k race start

9:45a – yoga/stretching session

10:00a – mascot race to kick off the 1-mile fun run, walk & roll start

12:00p – Event end

***Shirt included with 5k and virtual participant registration. Additional shirts available for purchase through the 1-mile sign-up for $15. (Registration and orders must be placed by August 24th to guarantee shirt size)

****We are making accommodations available for individuals with disabilities. The Prairie Striders Running Club out of Brookings, SD has graciously agreed to loan their racing chair for the event. Additionally, we can make accommodations for those with low vision or blindness. If you are in need of a guide or accommodation for any of our races, please let us know when you sign up, as well as contact Aimee.Deliramich@usd.edu directly. We will work with you to pair you with a trained guide or provide use of the racing chair.
