Celebrate with Mike Maimone, on tour for the release of his 15th album and 1st book, both called Guess What? I Love You.
This show features Mike performing songs from his new album on solo piano. Guiding the audience on an emotional journey, he will also read short selections from his book, which received a Kirkus recommendation, an endorsement from Don Lemon, and Los Angeles Magazine called it “a moving account of love, loss and the radical act of staying open to possibility.”
The companion pieces are a tribute to his late husband Howard Bragman, who championed the LGBTQ+ community by helping celebrities navigate their coming out journeys, and was a beloved Hollywood luminary appearing on shows from RuPaul’s Drag Race to Good Morning America.
Maimone’s piano-based music is often compared to Randy Newman, Leon Russell, Tom Waits, and Dr. John. With over 200 published songs, he has been heard on Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists, movie and TV soundtracks, on the radio, and he has performed at major festivals and iconic venues across the country and internationally, toured with bands including Blues Traveler, Plain White T’s and OK Go, and shared the stage with the legendary Stevie Wonder.
Doors open at 7pm, the show starts at 8pm and runs about 75 minutes.
