From humble beginnings to a National Recording Artist he Proudly tells the audience “I discovered America in Springdale, Arkansas”. An accolade Phil cherishes was presented to him from Gov. Mike Huckabee nominating him to the Arkansas Entertainers Hall of Fame as did the Arkansas Senate and House of Representatives. In 2019 McGarrah and his band Runnin On Empty were Crowned Entertainers of the year by the ACMA’s.
