Calling all runners and walkers! Please come join the leadership, youth, and committee members of Troop 361 for the second “Run For The Future” fun run/walk. While we call this run a 5-K run, it’s really a little longer, 3.61 miles in honor of our 25+ year history as Troop 361. The race is an out and back beginning and ending at Sertoma Park, Sioux Falls, SD. Thank you for making our second race a success!
One part of the Scout Oath is: “To keep myself physically strong. . .” This new 5-K race in Sioux Falls does its part to help Scouts, adult leaders, and community members keep this part of the Oath.
Proceeds from this race will benefit Troop 361, including youth camp scholarships, adult leader training and materials, youth training, purchasing new tents, and maintenance of existing equipment, and more.
Packet pickup will be race-day only, September 30, from 6:30-7:30am at Sertoma Park. Athlete briefing at 7:45am, including a flag ceremony presented by the youth of Troop 361.
The race entrance fee will include a T-shirt, water, and some nutrition at the end of the race. The t-shirt, in the size ordered will be guaranteed if registered by September 15,2023 . The race will go on in all weather conditions except when lightning is present. No refunds or transfers.
